Basics of How to Programme a
Dragon Cam & Loader Card
Once you received your Dragon Cam and Dragon
Loader Card,
you will be required to add the latest firmware to get the
cam to function,as it's supplyed blank and will decrypt nothing.
You will require a Smart Mouse/ Pheonix 6.00mhz programmer
to programme the loader card with the latest firmware,now
download and open the Dragon Loader
Now download the correct firmware
the latest firmware can be found below, this firmware
works perfect on all Dragon supported encryptions.
Once you downloaded the correct Firmware, all you need do now
is unzip it, and run the Dragon Loader if the settings are
correct and the Dragon Loader Card is inserted chips facing
down, click 'Connect' it should give you the Connected message,
now click Programme card, here you must select the correct
folder where you downloader the Preditor v1.0 Firmware to,
and click on the file. Once the Dragon Loader Card has been
fully programmed, remove the card from the programmer and insert
the Dragon Cam in the receivers C.I Slot, go to cam menu and
insert the Dragon Loader Card, select the option update Firmware
and just be patient, once finished remove Dragon Loader Card and
Restart the receiver with the Dragon cam still inserted, and that's it.
No type of Smartcard is required to view
any of the supported channels.
Once the Firmware upload has started you will
notice
that the progress bar will remain static at 0%
if you wish to check the progress of the upload click rescan.
