How to set-up obiwans TPS Keyupdater
and Auto Loader
First thing you need do is download the
following
Auto TPS Key-Updater & Loader (26-06-06)

Now download the latest Key
File

Once you have unzipped theOBI_Keys_2.0.3c
file
make sure you keep all files together in the same folder

Next unzipped the l53_keys file then just
drag and drop the L53-TM1000_series file
into the same folder as OBI_Keys_2.0.3c
if asked do you want to overwrite click yes
this will make sure that the keys for all
providers are then upto date.

To start the programme double click on the
OBI_Keys exe file

Now before you start running the programme
check that the
com port is correctly set, by default it is set to com 1

As you see I changed the com port here to
com 3
Here are the command lines to change the com port
(D:1:TPS_Keys_to_Load.key) .... COM PORT 1 Default Setting
(D:2:TPS_Keys_to_Load.key) .... COM PORT 2
(D:3:TPS_Keys_to_Load.key) .... COM PORT 3
(D:4:TPS_Keys_to_Load.key) .... COM PORT 4

Once you selected the correct com port
click the start button
the programme will now attempt to connect to the relevant key server

Once it makes a connection to
the key server you will see the keys added

Then the dimpll keyloader will
automatically start this is why
it is so important to select the correct com port if you do not
set it correctly the auto upload will not be able to make the
connection, also remember to keep your TM1000 Series receiver
connected to your computer via a null modem cable.

Theres a option if you wish to send the
updates to the receiver
just click on the dimpll keyloader button

Now every time theres a TPS Key update the
programme
will detect it update the the keys and send them
automatically to your TM1000 Series receiver

The top line is displaying the countdown
indicator
the bottom line is displaying the connection to server indicator

Finally if you wish to visit
any of our sites just click on the button as shown below

Please Note
The programme depends upon the Key Server being active, but the more requests that are
submitted to the server, the chances of the server going down are dramatically increased,
so if the keys stop being updated this will be a direct result of the server being off
line, and not a problem of the programme itself.
