Here we shall show you how easy it is to do a blind search on your TM1500CI+ Super receiver

Click the "Menu" button on your remote control
you will then get the following Screen

Under the Installation menu select Blind Search & click okay

Now select the satellite you wish to do a blind search on
and click okay in our demonstration we shall use Eutelsat W4 36east

using the > arrow key move across to the search options
you will notice that the selected satellite changes it's
highlight colour
if it don't change colour then you have not selected a
satellite correctly

Selecting the blind search perameters
scroll up until TP is highlighted

once TP has been highlighted click okay
you can now select the start and finish scan frequencies
but just leaving them as is will suffice
click okay once you have made your choices

scroll down to SR and using the < > buttons scroll through the options untill you find one that suits your blind search requirements, click okay once you have made your choices

Full : means full range of symbol rate (Fast mode)                                                                                         
Over 7.5M : blind search over symbol rate range 7500 (7500 ~ 45000)                                                         
Under 7.5M : blind search under symbol rate range 7500                                                                               
Under 3.7M : blind search under symbol rate range 3700                                                                               
Detail : means full range of symbol rate in detail mode (Takes a little longer but covers all symbol rates)

now scroll down to Pol now you have the option to
search either Vertical Horizontal or All select what
you want to search and click okay button

scroll down to Mode and make a choice of either:-
Free - TV or All
Free = ignores encrypted channels                                      
TV = Ignores Radio but includes encrypted TV channels
All = includes TV and Radio encrypted as well as Free    
click okay button once you have made your choice

And finally scroll down to the search button and
click the okay button this will then start your blind search

Once a channel has been detected you will see the
signal quality turn green and the detected channels displayed

once the blind search has finished wait for the channels to be correctly stored

now just keep clicking 'End' untill all windows are closed and you can start watching the channels.

You can now start using your receiver as normal.

Leaving all the blind search options on the Default setting will be satisfactory for most of you.
