Here we shall show you how to
lock spacific channels
so they become locked to those without the password.
Click the 'Menu' button on your remote control
scroll down to system settings and click okay

Now scroll down to Password
Settings
and click the okay button

Enter your Password to
continue
the default password is: 0 0 0 0
It would be wise to change
the password to a more secure one

if the Lock channel confirm
is set to Off
set it to On otherwise the channels will not lock out
click exit then yes to save the settings then click okay

Now highlight Edit Channels
and click okay

Here you can select and lock
all the inapropriate channels
(theres no limit to the number of channels you can select to lock)
All you need do to lock a channel is scroll up or down untill
you locate a channel you wish to lock out, and click the okay button
you will then see a lock icon next to the channel to indicate
that you have locked that channel, to remove the lock just click
the okay button and the lock will be removed.

Once you have selected and
locked all the channels
click the exit button then yes to save the settings
then okay to confirm and store

In this demo we lock out the
Cartoon/TCM channel
if we attempt to view the channel once we saved the lock
settings, this is what we get, blank screen asking for our password

Only after you enter the
correct password can you view the locked channel

To stop anyone switching the
lock off you must also do the following:
click menu on your remote controll then select system settings
then password settings then Install Lock make sure this is set to Yes
that then stops anyone from searching and storing for the channels without the lock being
implimented

Also make sure that the Edit
Channel Lock is set to Yes
then nobody without the password can access the channel editor

And heres a nice feature if
you wish to keep the channel lock
on the channels but wish to view them without the inconvieniance
of entering the password everytime, go to System Settings ->
Password Settings -> Lock Channel Confirm and set this to Off
you can then access all channels including the locked ones.
Remember to reset Lock Channel Confirm to Yes to impliment the lock.

Now if anyone attempts to
edit the settings or scan for channels
they will require the password to do so.

You can now start using your
receiver as normal.
