How to change the default settings on WCE

The first thing you do is open the WCE Folder located in C:\unzipped
then select and open the Wincardemu Configuration Settings file
see image below

Once opened you can select the correct configurations for your particular set-up.
As default is set to Irdeto and Com 1 the default settings may not
be the correct setting for you, now locate line # defaultmode: in the configuration file
and select the option that suits your needs, as you see there are 6 choices:
0 = Eurocrypt               
1 = Viaccess                 
2 = Conax                       
3 = Seca / Mediaguard
4 = Irdeto                         
5 = Videoguard             
If you are using an Irdeto all cam or a Patched Humax 5400
then you would select 'Mode 4' Irdeto
If you are using a Conax cam or Force receiver with embedded Conax cam
then you should select 'Mode 2' Conax
And so on 'Mode 1' Viaccess cam, 'Mode 3' Seca/Mediaguard cam
To change the default setting simply change the number next to
the Defaultmode= to the correct number that suits your needs.

To change the com port from it's default setting
simply locate each of the encryption settings and
change the port=1 to the com port your computer requires
this is usually 1-4.
So if for example your computer is set to use com 3 then
change from port=1 to port=3 do this on all encryptions:
Conax, Viaccess, Seca etc etc
You can also change the baud rate if you are using a certain cam
or receiver that do not run correctly on the default baud rate settings.
